Refill Instructions

   Insert the nozzle part of the cartridge into the refill clip, and push the top of the cartridge all the way in until you hear it clicking into place.
   Put the supplied gimlet into the hole at the top of the cartridge, and turn it clockwise more than six times to enlarge the ink injection inlet.
   Open the cap of the ink container and connect the ink injection needle.
  Insert the injection needle deep into the ink injection inlet with the needle directed toward the nozzle.

Pull up the injection needle about 5mm backward, and then slowly inject 20ml of ink (1 bottle) by pressing the piston of the ink container for about 30 seconds.  Then pull out the ink container. 

◆ Warning 1:  The ink volume specified above is for a completely empty cartridge.◆ Warning 2:  If you inject ink too much or too quickly, it may flow over or leak out.

Connect the supplied suction syringe to the rubber hole on the bottom of the refill clip, and slowly suck out about 1ml of ink.  Then remove the syringe. 

◆ Warning:  For the above step, use the syringe without the ink injection needle, and take special care that the withdrawn ink does not flow back into the cartridge.
※ Note:  This procedure is for cleaning the cartridge nozzles to improve print quality.

Remove the cartridge from the refill clip and clean the excessive ink around the nozzle, dabbing the nozzle part of the cartridge on some sheets of soft tissue.  Install it in the printer, and then run the "nozzle cleaning" process before use. 
◆ Warning:  Always keep the cartridge's ink injection inlet open after refilling.
※ Note:  If the ink keeps on leaking out of cartridge nozzles after refilling or the printout quality is not good enough, read the “Emergency measures when problems occur after refilling“ at the end of the user manual and take the right steps.
