The PG-40 black ink cartridge and the CL-41 colour ink cartridge are used together in a number of Canon printers. The PG-37 black and CL-38 colour ink cartridges are low yield alternatives, which we do not offer. Some printers use only the CL-41, mixing the colours to give black. Four colour printing is acceptable for most business use, but more colours are better when printing photographs with inkjet ink. However, combining all colours in one cartridge is more wasteful than having single colour printer cartridges, as not all inks are used at the same rate.
We can only supply Canon original inkjet cartridges and InkTec ink refill kits for these cartridges. We also offer a cartridge refill by post service. We do not supply compatible or remanufactured cartridges for these Canon printers cartridges.
